Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

    * Master current best practices and lead individual keynote events
    * Support the detailed day-to-day operations of preparing for worldwide keynote events
    * Anticipate and drive executive communication to set expectations and influence decision-making
    * Innovate keynote experiences through team collaboration and gaining inspiration from events spanning technology, entertainment and music industries
    * Understand salesforce.com brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging

Required Skills/Experience:

    * 4-6 years successful event management experience OR  equivalent experience in marketing program management
    * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
    * Extremely detail oriented
    * Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel/Computer proficient

    * Ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests

Desired Skills/Experience:

    * 5-7+ years of high-tech event experience in a fast-paced environment
    * Managed budgets greater than $1M and conferences with 1000+ attendees
    * Proven pre-show and onsite experience in leading general session keynotes for C-Level executives
    * Exceptional program, project and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, accountable
    * Independent, self-starter who can prioritize and drive deliverables to execution with minimal supervision
    * Excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally with executives and marketing counterparts
    * Strong IT skills and project management skills with a desire to learn new technologies to improve current processes
    * In-depth knowledge of Google Docs, MS Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, Facebook and Twitter is necessary
    * Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel when required
