Manufacturing Biotechnologist

The position Support the Biochemical Manufacturing Department by working effectively within the group to meet departmental goals and objectives Preparing small equipment and solutions, cleaning and sterilizing vessels Monitoring/Operating biochemical processing equipment while adhering to Safety, cGMP and Biochemical Manufacturing guidelines Ensure assigned tasks are prioritized and documented in accordance with approved manufacturing formulae Escalate issues encountered with equipment or processes Support process improvement efforts Operate computers for process control and data entry Participate in staff and shift change meetings Work closely with shift personnel and external support groups Who you are Diploma/Degree in Life Science or Engineering related field with at least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the pharma/chemical/petrochemical industry Self starter with a strong focus on safety and quality Team player with good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills Results-oriented with a keen eye for details Possess a mechanical aptitude with a familiarity with computer based systems Willing to work 12-hour shift (including weekends) with rotating off/rest days Appointment to this position will be on local Singapore salary and benefits package.
