Infrastructure Project Manager
Infrastructure Project Manager - Windows, Netapp, Cisco, Wintel, Prince2, PMP Our client are global London Market Insurance client based in the city and are looking for a contract Project Manager and RDF are looking to attract the best talent. To oversee the upgrade of key components of our infrastructure. The main focus of the project is decommissioning and migrating systems from versions of the windows server platform that no longer fit with our strategic vision, one of the systems that will be migrated in our batch control tool Autosys. •Manage the delivery of the project to achieve agreed goals and benefits. •Effective management of stakeholders ranging from IT to Underwriting and Finance. •Ensuring the project achieves its objectives and delivers on schedule. •Ensuring the projects are effectively planned ranging from business communications to implementation activities. •Ensuring compliance to governance processes. •Manage the risks, including the development of contingency plans. •Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary. • Manage project scope, change control and escalate issues where necessary. Technical Capabilities •10+ years project management experience managing infrastructure projects. •Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, NetApp and Cisco infrastructure. •Proficiency in project management principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation eg Prince 2 or PMP. •Significant previous experience implementing infrastructure upgrades. Years of Experience 10+ years
