Director of Market Development Consumer Product
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution, go-to-market strategy and business plan
* Execute the Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution, development plan across regions by supporting the sales team in delivering on license revenue targets
* Engage in consultative sales support with select customers and prospects regionally
* Define key solutions and positioning of QlikView within the sector
* Create suite of sector specific sales enablement materials (i.e. white papers, marketing guides, solution focused demos)
* Collaborate with and support Field Marketing with integrated marketing campaign to develop the Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution segment
* Coordinate with Alliances in defining and developing the Partner Ecosystem to support the Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution.
* Build brand awareness and recognition through specific Analyst and Media engagement
* Drive for execution /results–ability to execute and deliver against business goals consistently driving profitability and contribution to revenue achievement
* Excellent communications and highly developed interpersonal skills with strong ability to work collaboratively across the organization and obtain positive visibility and credibility quickly – a strong team player who contributes to overall success of One QlikTech
* Strong leadership qualities and able to lead, develop, motivate and empower a high performing virtual team who contribute to the success of QlikTech
* Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally and able to navigate and effectively manage his/her business successfully in a matrixed organization across borders, understanding and respecting cultural diversity and operating successfully within that framework. Requirements
* 10+ Experience in software/technology sales and marketing and/or consulting to clients in Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution,
* 15+ Experience in software/technology sales and marketing. Prior consulting experience in Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution, a plus.
* Experience in Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution, and well connected in vertical
* Experience of marketing solutions into Enterprise organizations with an understanding of vertical and functional business issues
* Proven track record of aligning Marketing with Sales with tangible success, i.e. tangible growth, lead and revenue generation achievement
* Track record of contribution to revenue growth and expanding the foot print in the Consumer Product, Retail & Distribution, market .
* Track record of successfully creating alignment with sales and influencing across a matrix organization
* Appreciation of the subtleties of a global marketing organization, e.g. developing a reusable framework across different markets, verticals sectors, and business areas.
* Track record of providing significant contribution to business growth whilst marketing and thus having made a real difference through a tangible and integrated marketing approach
* Will have considered our Client’s business, its market, its business model and how you can make a difference to the success of the business and region the incumbent is responsible for
* Educated to Bachelors Degree level
* MBA preferred
