Leadership & Organizational Development Consultant

The Leadership & Organizational Development Consultant will work closely with business and HR leaders across the company to integrate performance management, succession planning, leadership and employee development, and educational programs.   Leadership & Organizational Development Consultant will assess and conduct  needs assessment on the organizational and individual needs, determine the appropriate interventions, lead the design and project management of organizational programs and interventions, organize and align resources and budget needed to implement and evaluates services for continuous improvement.   The Consultant will coordinate work and influence across the organizational matrix. Will be responsible for Effectively managing change, improving individual and team performance resulting in higher employee and customer satisfaction.  Responsible for integrating performance management, succession planning, leadership and employee development, and educational programs.
 
 
Responsibilities

•Deliver leadership and employee development programs, change management, effective communication and other organizational development efforts
•Influence and educate leadership on the importance of organizational effectiveness, performance management, and talent management initiatives in support of building and leading great teams.
•Deliver a combination of synchronous and asynchronous blended learning and organizational development opportunities.
•Collaborate & consult w/ HR Business partners & leaders to develop & facilitate programs to create and sustain high performing leaders/teams
•Participate in the rollout of employee satisfaction/engagement survey; assist & consult w/ leaders in the development of action plans
• Assist in the development & implementation of succession planning process
•Create strategy w/ HR Business Partners to develop successors & action plans to address gaps in key leadership positions
 
Key Competencies and Skills

•Demonstrated success in leading change management, process improvement, culture or system change, learning and meeting
•Experience in organizational effectiveness and development, change management, performance management initiatives and adult learning in a corporate environment
•Expertise in managing or developing performance management systems, competency models, and associated training
•Demonstrated expertise in the areas of developing high performing teams, and the tools/resources utilized in assessing team performance
•Established record of well developed and effective consulting and client relationship skills
•Led the development of strategy & communication around large organizational change initiatives
•Demonstrated application of change management principles & practices to complex organizational initiatives
•Extensive adult learning curriculum design & delivery in the areas of leadership and employee development. Curriculum design background includes classroom and e-learning; utilize appropriate measurements and metrics for training activities
 
Qualifications

•Bachelor or Bachelor equivalent in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Learning or HR Management mandatory with at least 10-15 years of experience
• Master or Master equivalent in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Learning or HR Management preferred with at least 10-15 years of experience
•Experience in adult learning principles, curriculum design, training delivery, succession planning and coaching
•Demonstrated track record of program development, management and execution
•Executive presence
•Prior experience as a global process leader in a COE / Shared Services HR delivery model
•Strategic thinking with the ability to translate into specific and measurable actions and outcomes; provides practical solutions and simple execution
•Provides cutting edge talent organizational effectiveness, leadership effectiveness, learning and programs to the company, business and HR leaders
•Exhibits the ability to “roll-up your sleeves” and do the work
•Demonstrated experience in the design, development and delivery of progressive leadership programs, utilizing computer-based and e-learning methodologies, blended learning, and action learning capability
•Demonstrated experience in organization development theory, practice, and methodologies; evaluation methodologies, and multi rater assessments skills enhancing assessments
 
Mobility – 30 % of travel time required including overnight and overseas travel. Could be more during the first six months while traveling to build relationships.
