Project Analyst

- Support Engineering resource planning activities based on roadmap and managers inputs. - Use various forecasting techniques to model and forecast operational drivers to facilitate engineering communications with business teams. - Coordinate monthly forecast process, manage data in planning system, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate and complete. - Prepare and analyze data for metric review on a monthly basis. - Identify and implement efficiencies to enhance existing reporting. - Ability to collaborate with Finance and Procurement to identify cost savings and highlight risks and opportunities is a plus. Responsibilities - Strong interpersonal and team building skills. - Ability to influence and negotiate with others. - Able to work well with managers and engineers in achieving department goals. - High conceptual problem solving and quantitative analytical aptitude with a strong attention to detail. - Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast paced environment and get the job done. - Good understanding of procurement processes and financial analysis. - Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications with excellent MS Excel skills (generation of macros highly desired, pivot tables) - Previous work experience in a business analyst role desirable, preferably in an Engineering environment. Skills/Experience - Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication or testing a plus - Experience with IBM Cognos TM1 a plus - Familiarity with Oracle SQL queries a plus - Process optimization/process mapping a plus Education Requirements Bachelor's with quantitative educational background is required. Industrial Engineering with focus on business analysis and/or supply chain mgmt course work or degree focus is ideal. Graduate work preferred but not a must (e.g. MBA, MS, etc).
