Main purpose of the Role The main purpose of the job is to facilitate the design and development of learning modules and programs on Lighting Knowledge Competencies and also support classroom training programs, and particularly external programs, in terms of organization, coordination and basic teaching. Detailed Job Description . Key Areas of Accountability and Key Performance Indicators Key Areas of Accountability This position calls for primarily planning and executing the program portfolio (on-line and direct interface programs) for external customers (channel partners, specifiers, industry associations etc.) related to Lighting domain knowledge. This would entail: Adapting global & creating local content by coordinating with SMEs for Lighting learning materials and assessment tests on Lighting Working with global teams for selecting and updating the on line content of the PLA external website Identification and sourcing of vendors, where required, for module development Working with Lighting marketing team for pricing, promotion of programs for external stakeholders, where applicable Scheduling, planning and deploying classroom programs for external stakeholders (primarily) Engaging with key customers online to keep the engagement index high for PLA and ensuring participation of PLA programs Development of faculty base for lighting domain (internal and external) Key Performance Indicators Learning programs on Lighting Knowledge Competencies as per schedule Compliance to plan for external program Targeted no of participants per program Revenue target compliance Key Challenges & Complexity Multi-tasking to ensure deployment of programs as required with target & time compliances Converting a large repository of learning material into suitably edited and formatted program content Deriving fresh learning material in sync with the defined frameworks for KC-s with timeliness & accuracy Coordinating with the global team, local Function Heads & SME-s for ensuring timely availability in sync with PLAs programs plans & calendar Organisation context of role a. Tech Electrical (Necassary) M.E / M. Tech Illumination (Preferred) Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in Lighting Technical Functions, Lighting Applications Preferred experience: Working with Specifiers/ Key Accounts in lighting or managing technical learning initiatives in large technical associations Key Competencies/ Proficiency: - Technical/Functional Competencies: o Sound knowledge of lighting theory, product technology, design & application o Alternative, sound knowledge on Energy Regulations, Sustainability etc. o Advanced excel, power point & IT tools - Behavioural Competencies: o Sound oral & written communication skills o Networking & people skills Experience 3 - 6 Years Industry Type IT-Software / Software Services Role Other
