Configuration, Troubleshooting, Maintenance of Linux based servers. Experience with administering Linux OS: RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu etc. Maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of Linux based Servers. Managing JAVA application servers like Jboss, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat VMWare ESX and ESXi, Mysql Database, LDAP, Apache,Ipcop, Squid, Mail scanner, Nagios,DNS(Bind), DHCP, Samba, FTP, Crontab, Rsync, VPN (IPSec & OpenVPN), Monitoring of Logs / Reports of servers, Telephonic Support to remote users, Shell Scripting, Research & Development in Open Source Projects. Must be familiar with network connectivity technologies and equipment. Good understanding of Firewall concepts, web and database servers. Assistance in developing test plans, gathering performance data during testing and analysis of results to assist in developing a production architecture for the application. Update system as soon as new version of OS and application software comes out. Plan and implement deployment of configurations, system policies, system architecture and integration in a way that maximizes system availability. Should be aware about system hardening, VPN networks, iptables, data security. Phone/Email Support and correspondence with local and remote staff. Performing documentation tasks. Good Communication Skills, Good Analytical Skills, Documentation Skills are also preferred.
