Field Service Coordinator


  • Process daily work orders for the Field Service Department, including time cards, travel time, air travel, labor hours, hotel, mileage and system parts used.
  • Schedule/Dispatch/Travel Coordination for workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests.
  • Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.  
  • Provide support regarding quotes to customers for service and maintenance contracts on an as needed basis. 
  • Resolve customer issues, interface with internal departments to ensure all customer expectations are met.
  • Verify monthly Service Reports to ensure that all billable infomation is included.
  • Provides support regarding the solicitation or renewal of maintenance or service contracts on an as needed basis.
  • Maintain RMA records per established procedures for Service Department's inventory tracking.
  • Prepare and provide reports as required.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Order supplies and equipment and issue them to personnel. Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
  • Extensive interaction with other departments within the company to ensure that our commitments to our customers are met. 
  • Has authority to use other departments and managers for assistance to meet the needs of internal and external customers. 
  • Has authority to assist customers, internal and external, within departmental and corporate policies and procedures. 
  • Review and code orders correctly to ensure accurate management reports.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2 to 4 years experience in customer service coordination or related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
  • Knowledge of Service Management Systems preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic finance skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to make decisions and work independently
