Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
* Prospect, ID, demo and sell SLHC products, services and solutions in all market segments (Private/Public/Medical offices…)
* Identify and develop targeted account strategies using Strategic selling skills and tools (DSG Messaging, Blue sheets etc.) to maximize account penetration. Proficiency in Strategic Selling should be at an expert level.
* Collaborate with the Sales/Service/Marketing organizations. Team work with field service, Clinical Specialists and other company resources to maximise sales efficiency, account penetration and market share growth.
* Maintain sufficient identified business to support a “balanced” sales funnel.
* Represent Spacelabs Healthcare as the technology leader and vendor of choice through regular product presentations, evaluations, customer training and sales calls as required by the company.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge on Spacelabs’ products and competitive products.
* Participate in Professional Trade Shows and attend National meetings.
* Maintain consultative sales relationships with all key buying influences in each account.
* Maintain up to date account profiles, forecasts etc. within Lotus Notes (eSales) on a daily basis.
* Implement established sales and marketing strategies as requested by senior management. Develop information pertaining to sales situations and territorial sales strategies.
* Observe all applicable company safety policies and practices.
* Use safe and defensive driving techniques and attend defensive driving training as required.
* Maintain demo inventory in salable condition, including proper storage, movement and record keeping.
* Ensure that company vehicle is clean and regularly maintained at all times consistent with Fleet requirements
* Submit accurate reports regarding expenses, activities, results, market position, and monthly forecasts.
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
* Ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation effectively.
* Highly effective motivational and developmental skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills: listening, written and verbal.
* Proven sales representative experience within a capital equipment market.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Clinical training or commercial success, ideally in a Critical Care or Theatre environment.
Qualifications:
* Excellent spoken and written English skills
* Degree/professional level education in either a clinical, biomedical, science or business discipline.
* Large territory coverage experience
* Proven Sales track record in capital equipment sales.
* Monitoring / Diagnostic Cardiology / Ventilation products knowledge
* At least 2 years experience in a similar psoition
