Support management of in-market prices for Novartis Pharma by evaluating and analyzing pricing information and trends on Novartis and competitor products, interrogating pricing strategies and monitoring pricing & reimbursement environment and evolving regulations Liaise with and support the GPMA Team by interrogating different internal and external pricing databases including IMS pricing Insights, IMS PADDS and country-level pricing datasets Support management of ex-factory prices of in-market products, by providing information on (changes in) the competitive pricing situation. Run simple launch sequence models and other financial and economic modeling and analyses as required Provide relevant data and reports on pricing & reimbursement of Novartis and competitor products for use by market access/pricing directors, Value & Access Teams and fror other stakeholders at global/regional and country level Conduct projects on global and regional pricing issues, as well as brand / therapeutic class related issues, including development of models, analogs and dashboards Develop expertise / know-how on pricing opportunities and challenges related to dose range, formulation, packaging, expansion of indications, patent expiry. Contribute to strategic discussions about cross-indication and country launch sequencing through generation and interpretation of relevant data Contribute quantitative input and to the insights/strategic thinking on key GPMA documents such as payor disease primers, core value prospectuses, pre-read materials for advisory boards, and HTA documents. Contribute to our accumulated knowledge and databases by continually monitoring payor systems across the world (stay current in terms of health technology assessment, pricing and market access environment; by attend training courses, WebEx's, review of literature & relevant websites, attendance at conferences). Desired Profile Preferably scientific education (Masters or PhD) with economic degree, additional Finance education or MBA highly desirable English 5 years experience in Pharma/healthcare, working with pricing databases, preparation of reports, analyses & interpretation. Expertise in Pricing & Reimbursement regulations, modelling, financial analyses, project management. Good business sense and maturity to challenge input/outputs. Experience 5 - 10 Years Industry Type Pharma / Biotech / Clinical Research Role Outside Consultant
