Sales Manager DACH

Position Description:
The EtherCloud Channel Sales Manager will be expected to be able to interface comfortably with Inteliquent's presale support team, technical team and management team internally and with external partners and customers based in Germany, Austria & Switzerland and to work independently.

Required Experience & Abilities:

    * 3+ years of experience in channel sales
    * 5+ years of experience in Sales Channels/direct sales for VPN and private circuits sales is preferred
    * Strong working knowledge of IT consulting firms, carriers, resellers, system integrators and corporate customers in the Territory
    * Knowledge of Ethernet technology and markets
    * Strong drive to achieve results and help Inteliquent's sales growth
    * Enthusiastic and energetic
    * Ability to work independently and react quickly to customers' requirement changes
    * High level of flexibility and reliability
    * Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with other teams
    * Bachelor degree required
    * Native German speaker and excellent English skills – written & spoken (interviews will be held in English only)


Responsibilities:

    * Identify the players (i.e., IT consulting firms, system integrators, resellers, VNOs) in Germany, Austria & Switzerland that would be suitable resellers of EtherCloud and IP Transit services
    * Build strong sales channels with the identified partners through relationship building, training on our services and EtherCloud portal, partnerships and co-marketing programs, etc.
    * Address selectively high end corporate accounts that buy high capacity Ethernet circuits as well as international layer 2 VPN (VPLS) services
    * Promote and sell directly and indirectly EtherCloud (and Inteliquent's product portfolio when viable) services in the indicated market segment
    * Develop new customer portfolio
    * Answer RFPs and prepare and negotiate proposals with customers
    * Provide reporting on sales opportunities and market
    * Travel to meet prospects and partners when appropriate
    * Collaborate with sales support and technical for elaboration of sales offers to customers
