Production Planner III

Plans, schedules, coordinates manufacturing production based on customer demand. Coordinates production plans to ensure final products are produced on time. Ensures raw materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels.

Responsibilities
Point person for ERP system updates with regards to supply chain logistics activities.
Load and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Assists with driving the planning process (MRP and manual) and ensuring planned requirements are accurate.
Organizes and runs production meetings.
Updates and maintains production status reports.
Analyzes raw material balances and ensures there are adequate levels to support Manufacturing and R&D requirements.

Requirements
Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree. Equivalent experience may be accepted.
APICS certification preferred.
A minimum of 4 years industry experience in a process manufacturing environment is required.
Experience working with MPR/ERP systems is required. (Oracle JDE Preferred)
Previous experience working in a GMP or GLP environment is required.
Computer skills to include; knowledge of Excel, MS Project; High analytical aptitude.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills are required.
Must have the ability to multi-task and deliver results in a timely manner.
