Job Description

Lead and implement the Bank’s CRA Outreach program and strategic plan in assigned region.
Establish and maintain a referral network to support the credit needs of low and moderate income households and low and moderate income locations within assigned region. Emphasis is on establishing relationships with housing organizations, local government, not-for-profit groups, and local Realtors who specialize in low and moderate income housing and credit.
 
Provide leadership and connection to the bank for organizations focused on affordable housing and serving under-banked or un-banked individuals. This position is an important component of NPB’s ability to understand the credit needs within the communities we serve and to assure that our Bank has products, services, and adequate delivery channels to meet those needs.
 
Ensure all company, division and departmental policies, regulatory and compliance concerns and procedures are effective and implemented.
 

Qualifications

    *
      High school diploma or attendance at a school of higher education.
    *
      SAFE Act NMLS Federal Registration.  
    *
      Five (5) years of banking experience preferred.
    *
      Strong communication skills in English.
    *
      Ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable.
    *
      The ability to organize and direct the work of others to achieve desired outcomes.
    *
      Five (5) years management experience in a related field.
    *
      Proficient interpersonal skills.
    *
      The ability to make sound decisions in adherence to company policies.
    *
      Well-developed administrative skills.
    *
      The ability to speak well in front of a group.
    *
       Well-developed analytical and problem solving abilities.
    *
      Self-motivated and able to work either independently or as part of a team.
    *
      Ability to organize attributes of various financial options and formulate into the best execution for both the bank and the client.
    *
      Flexible personal schedule to participate in community events, training initiatives, and after-hours appointments.
