BSA Risk Specialist

 Job Description-

Performs various risk functions supporting compliance with laws, rules and regulations associated with but not limited to: the Bank Secrecy Act, the USE PATRIOT Act (CIP) and OFAC, including: customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence, suspicious activity review, research and reporting and monitoring for new account opening exceptions. The position serves a vital risk management function that protects the company from compliance, operational, legal and reputational risks.

   1. Work with BSA Analyst to identify and review potential customer risk utilizing an in depth dynamic review process in order to risk rate customer profiles and document the mitigation process. Communicate with Branches and other lines of business to obtain missing & additional customer information including missing CIP.
   2. Work with BSA Analyst to identify high risk customers and maintain compliance with the CDD and CIP processes.

Qualifications-

    * HS Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
    * Three (3) years of banking or related industry experience, including two (2) years that include the technical knowledge that is required for this position
    * Strong computer and keyboarding skills including proficient technical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
    * Proficient numerical and mathematical skills, strong investigative, analytical and organizational skills.
    * Ability to work independently.
    * Above average ability to work well with others.
    * Detail oriented.
