Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
National Grid is looking for a Coordinator who will contribute to the overall department planning, coordination and organizational efforts, interfacing effectively with internal customers, departments and organizations as well as potentially external vendors/suppliers. In this role you will collate, analyze, and present data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats in order to the Customer Organization and National Grid reporting requirements and strategic initiatives. Other responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

# Maintaining and submitting department wide information requirements and documents
# Recommend and produce effective management reporting to enable better organizational collaboration.
# Collate information and perform regular analyses (e.g., to support rate case filings) in order to ensure other team members and other functions have information as required.
# Assist with administrative activities including maintaining calendar, travel arrangements, etc supporting the SVP
# Promote and implement procedural best practice in order to ensure all working practices within the customer function (and where relevant, health and safety standards) are compliant with National Grid policies and regulatory requirements.
# Develop and execute business plans, in line with National Grid and the Customer Org standards and work practices, in order to increase business opportunities with internal and external customers.
# Manage the day to day relationship with contract service providers, including negotiation, interpretation and application of established contractual agreements and/or service level agreements to ensure adherence to standards and best outcomes for National Grid.
# Monitor and review work undertaken across a number of small to medium scale projects or a large complex project in order to ensure appropriate use of materials, tools, equipment or resources and adherence to schedules.
# Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within the Customer Org and National Grid in order to share best practice and understand and challenge business decisions.
# Manage the day to day relationship with customers/business areas in order to understand their requirements and deliver appropriate solutions, in line with the Customer Organization function¿s and National Grid policies and processes.
# Provide up to date analysis/statistics/regulatory information in order to ensure regulators are kept up to date with relevant National Grid policies, processes and programs.

Job Qualifications:
# A Bachelor's degree or up to 2 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
# Knowledge of National Grid¿s business operations, company policies and practices.
# Knowledge of regulated industry practices and general financial management a plus.
# Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
# Understanding or project management techniques and methods.
