Production Planning Administrator
Description
Create and revise work orders as needed. Check costing on work orders before closing. Coordinate with warehouse to release shipment for invoicing.
Work closely with our expediter to ensure that all parts are issued to work order
Generate and update various reports supporting all facets of Production Planning; MRP reports, WIP reports, and overall performance tracking reports.
Create material requisition for the purchase of various services and products
Update part maintenance buyer codes, safety stock and product codes
Send correspondence to facilitate communication between parts desk, buyers and expediter
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have 1-3 years previous administrative experience with a high level and data entry and reporting. Experience within a purchasing/planning function will be given preference.
Oil and gas and/or heavy equipment manufacturing experience is an asset
Strong computer skills within MS Office is essential
Previous experience with data base software and manufacturing/inventory software is an asset.
Excellent communication skills; both written and vernal
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Able to adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
Ability to raise concerns in a constructive manner that maintains credibility and positive working relationships
Strong organization and administration skills
