Materials Coordinator
Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Additional Information
BASIC FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management
• Manage all activity related to receipt, issuance, transfer, storage, return and maintenance of chemical products inventory within Oracle system, in compliance with Nabors Inventory Management and Accounting Procedures.
• Lead role in forecasting chemical requirements for Operations.
• Insure physical inventory is reconciled and in balance with Oracle financials.
• Plan inventory cycle counting, reconcile and improve upon number of inventory adjustments required.
• Disposition of surplus and obsolete inventories.
• Conduct annual audits to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliant environment.
• Plan stock rotations to ensure obsolete product is kept to absolute minimum.
• Resolve product discrepancies between suppliers and stakeholders involving order quantities, delivery dates and product availability.
• Analyze non-conformances.
• Insure root causes and corrective actions are determined, implemented and effective.
• Supervise, train and evaluate warehouse personnel.
• Monitor inventory costs.
• Prepare various reports related to inventories balances, chemical turn rates and usage.
• Proactively alert stakeholders regarding possible shortages; adjust inventory replenishment rates accordingly.
Toll Blending
• Responsible for planning, directing, supervising and coordinating all materials operation functions located at field sites/toll plants.
• Materials operation functions include warehousing, materials control, and purchasing and personnel/systems requirements.
• Maintains liaisons between field site/toll plant management teams, stakeholders, vendors and customers.
• Supervises and trains inventory staff to effectively manage field sites/toll plants.
• Manage toll blending production, material conversions and raw materials to toll blender vendors.
• Manage toll blending stock, including redeployment.
• Manage all aspects of company-owned inventory while held at toll blending facilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Background in chemical inventory management.
• Background in chemical toll blending management.
SPECIAL JOB CHARACTERISTICS
• Bachelors Degree in Business or Science preferred and at least three (3) years chemicals inventory/toll blending experience.
• In lieu of degree, some college and at least five (5) years chemicals inventory/toll blending experience required.
