BASIC FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads the execution of all logistics programs and physical distribution.
• Contributes to forecasting of transport requirements for Operations.
• Ensure all functions effecting carrier interference; execution – warehouse, transload and timely according to company policy and procedures.
• Replenishes inventory as required by usage schedule and customer orders while minimizing inventory and carrying cost.
• Maintains carrier integrity during inventory movement.
• Works with inventory coordinator supply chain processes for frac sand by planning, controlling, and tracking inventory.
• Identifies material balance variances and work with field material departments to correct.
• Manages transit KPI’s and responsible to spot and adjust to transit variations.
• Manage the movement of sand inventory in order to improve inventory turns and forecast demands.
• Identifies and reconciles inventory adjustments resulting from turnover counts that exceed established parameters.
• Analyzes and addresses logistic issues based on all related movements and usage reports. Prepare reports of transit balance, prices, and shortages.
• Train and develop the inventory staff on inventory systems, procedures, and practices.
• Monitor transportation and terminal costs.
• Make freight claims.
