Director, Business Consulting
The Director, Business Consulting is charged with sales support, delivery guidance and practice development responsibilities to drive revenue growth through new product sales, and business consulting practice expansion. This role demonstrates deep competency in contact center transformation, change management and the ability to foster dialog with senior client stakeholders during the consulting engagement to mitigate organizational, strategic, and operational issues impacting business value generation and successful solution adoption right from pre-sales process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide business consulting support during sales process and minimize organizational barriers for sales success by closely working with the respective LOBs.
* Closely work with strategic customers and drive larger and more profitable deals by clearly articulating NICE’s domain and vertical expertise to obtain executive buy-in during sales cycle.
* Demonstrate NICE business solution value and benefit through leading and conducting Proof-of-Concept (POC) based on customer data.
* Lead the thought leadership activity in the Americas.
* Identify opportunities to refine existing or develop new intellectual property and methodology based on past experience, research, and analysis of ongoing deployments.
* Develop intellectual capital that can be leveraged into marketing and sales materials that will position the firm as a thought leader and generate incremental revenue.
* Design long-term strategies that will optimize, streamline and enhance overall customer satisfaction and drive repeat business
* 10+ years experience driving contact center technology, process reengineering and effective communication with C-level leaders.
* 5+ years of business development experience focused on solutions with a significant services component.
* 4+ years experience of sales support, business assessment, POCs, Pilots and ROI case studies.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; Strong business and financial acumen.
* BA/BS in relevant field required
* Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
* Demonstrated sound business judgment based on best practice, financial and economic analysis that aligns with corporate strategic vision.
* Ability to influence the opinions and decisions of clients using understanding of client’s organizational processes and best-in-class maturity.
* Displays a strong understanding of contact center best practices across multiple verticals.
* Displays a strong knowledge of direct and in-direct business consulting practices.
* Ability to partner and align with clients delivering added-value in every touch point of the relationship using strong sales and post sale consulting, process, design and change management skills.
* Manage client relationships and individual engagements with a strong focus on excellence – high level of accountability at the individual level.
* Self motivated to strive for professional excellence in all aspects of work; proven ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.
