Senior Technical Writer

NETGEAR technical publications is looking for a senior technical writer with strong project management skills.  The position is  for an onsite contractor who can manage, lead, and write. The subject area routers, although the person does not have to have direct experience in this area. Someone familiar with hardware/software products and the consumer audience would be a plus.

The strong project management skills part is important. The person needs to be able to juggle projects, track details, work with many different people, and deliver documents on time. A background in journalism or work experience that required simultaneously and  single-handedly managing documents for a number of projects is desirable.

Knowledge of FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
