Commodity Manager

Commodity Manager Responsibility

-Work with engineers to select commodity materials at good quality, right cost and unification crossing the all product lines. And, teams with buyers, quality group and engineers to qualify strategic suppliers.

-Work with engineering team to find better and competitive solution to meet PLM’s requirement on the cost and product

-Quarterly price review with ODMs & Suppliers to meet PLM’s target -Define and track all improvement opportunities for business and technical requirements to drive the success of NETGEAR supplier relationship.

-Manage the relationship with strategic ODMs and chipset suppliers

-Provide assistances to other department to resolve problems related to ODMs and chipset suppliers.

Requirements and Qualifications:

BS/BA from an accredited University/College required

More than 7 years related working experience

Strong written/verbal communication and negotiating skills in Chinese & English

Ability to work independently and results oriented.

Team player with strong interpersonal communication

Cost sensitive, good concept on supplier strategy and management
