Functional Specialist -telecom/isp

This Position is now open ONLY for Serving Government servants who can apply till 18th July'2013. Job Purpose: Responsible for development of data interfaces with Telecom and Internet Service Providers & to provide expert guidance for identification, evaluation & adoption of various Application Packages/ Tools for creation of the NATGRID application. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for development of interfaces for data access, retrieval and management of Telecom and Internet Service Providers networks and integrate the data with the NATGRID application. Responsible for developing methodologies that detect and document patterns of various suspicious/spurious transactions, which can be integrated in the design interface of the in-house application. Provide technical support for customization of the acquired Application Packages/ Tools by the SIs to meet the requirements of the organization and oversee the integration in order to achieve seamless data transfer from Telcos/ISPs. Required Qualification, Skills & Experience: Skills & Experience: Experience includes research, teaching & independent consulting experience in relevant function/domain. Private sector employee with minimum of 14 years experience in IT/Telecom function. Minimum 5 years experience in the area of IT enablement and interface development for telecom/ISP companies. Experience in Analytics & pattern detection in the telecom/ISP industry. Experience in the area of fraud detection in the telecom/ISP industry. Experience in working with telecom/ISP billing system interfaces & media gate ways. Qualification: Masters Degree in science/computer applications or technical qualifications like Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Bachelors Degree in Technology/MBA or Equivalent. Schedule for completion of tasks: 1 Year. Reporting Officer: Chief Executive Officer through the approved channels. Final Output: Design of the application technology framework for information exchange between NATGRID & data providers in the telecom/ISP industry.
