Senior Loan Consultant

Job Description

North American Savings Bank (NASB) is a nationally recognized Internet mortgage provider and locally based federally chartered savings bank. Having closed over $5 Billion is residential mortgages in the last 3 years, we are continuing to expand our origination staff with qualified salespeople.

We are currently interviewing Senior Loan Consultants with a minimum 3 years of verifiable high volume mortgage sales experience for an opportunity to be a part of our top ranked mortgage sales staff. NASB offers a wide variety of the best products and rates in the industry as well as in-house processing and underwriting with excellent onsite support resources.

All real-time and long-form mortgage leads are provided daily, including inbound calls and live transfers, from the highest quality lead providers in the industry. Daily mortgage leads also include nationwide proprietary and organic NASB marketing efforts via the Internet, television and radio.

    * NASB offers an industry leading Commission structure including base salary plus full commission to start. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k.


Titles include: Loan Officer, Loan Consultant, Loan Originator, Mortgage Consultant, Mortgage Banker, Mortgage Broker.



Skills/Requirements

Solicit and sell mortgage loans to consumers across the nation. Contact consumers via telephone and E-mail, sell loans in a fashion consistent with division profitability standards.  Loan Consultant will be responsible for a minimum monthly production goal as determined by management. Internet Loan Consultants will not actively solicit local mortgage business.

Hours:  Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week. Some evening and weekend hours required

    * Minimum 3-5 years of high volume mortgage sales, including CONV, FHA and VA origination.
    * Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field preferred
    * Effective business communication abilities- both oral and written.
    * Excellent time management and organizational skills- must be detail oriented and thorough.
    * Highly motivated and reliable
    * Internet lending experience desired
