Corporate Paralegal

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Micron Attorneys who provide legal advice and counsel to the business teams in Micron’s Singapore based global operations.
  • Receive and process requests for agreements and other legal documents
  • Reviewing, amending, formatting corporate commercial documents
  • Open and manage matter-specific files, conduct basic due diligence, prepare initial drafts of documents, and track the ongoing status of various legal department projects
  • Maintain corporate filings from relevant authorities and perform office administrative and secretarial work
  • Provide assistance and support with immigration matters, such as, work permit and visa matters
  • Other responsibilities may include, under supervision of the responsible Micron Attorneys, attending internal meetings with the Micron business teams, communicating with counterparties and/or their legal counsel via conference calls and e-mail, and working with the Micron staff and attorneys in the broader Micron Legal Department.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline
  • Paralegal or professional secretarial certificate preferred
  • 5 years of applicable experience in providing senior administrative support
  • Experience in drafting, reviewing, and organizing documents
  • Familiar with ACRA Biz-filing requirements
  • Accurate and fast keyboarding skills and a strong background in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex meetings
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to track large numbers of documents and projects
  • Reliable attention to detail and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle internal clients professionally
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work effectively in a global team environment with high ethical standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Immigration and visa related experience will be an advantage
