Senior/HR Business Partner

Micron Fab10 - Senior/HR Business Partner

Responsibilities:

As a Senior/HR Business Partner, you will be an integral member of both your internal customer team and the HR team, acting as the primary link between the two parties. You will share in the responsibility for sustaining and improving business results by ensuring that HR strategies and plans are understood and translated into concrete actions and tangible results. You will also enable continuous improvement of HR programs by enabling HR to tie solutions to business direction and desired results, and by closely coordinating efforts with relevant parties.
 

  • The HR Business Partner advises and supports managers and team members on all HR-related matters that drive business performance and participates in delivering business goals. This involves translating business strategy into aligned HR plans and actions and ensuring they are successfully implemented within the organization.
     
  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As a HR Business Partner for Micron Fab10, you may be responsible for:
  • Provide consulting/coaching to managers on employee relations, performance and disciplinary issues as well as strategic HR support to Department managers to ensure that HR strategy and activities are aligned with and help deliver business goals.
  • Conduct team member complaint investigations, summarize, report on and make recommendations on appropriate actions.
  • Consult with managers on team member separation/termination activities.
  • Assist with delivery of HR trainings to managers, supervisors as well as new team member orientation activities.
  • Conduct, summarize and report on team member exit interviews.
  • Participate in employee retention initiatives.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, methodologies and guidelines within Department.
  • Provide consultation to managers regarding all personnel changes (shift, organization, pay, job, position, etc.)
  • Serve as a key contact for the business regarding HR policies, programs, practices and implementation at the line level as well as provide operational support and guidance to managers
  • Ensure Department compliance with local employment laws, regulations and applicable policies, values & behaviors, code of conduct, and work closely with the HR team to ensure compliance and appropriate resolutions.
  • Highlight key organizational trends and issues through metrics, process analysis and other methods to determine potential human resources issues. Provide forward-looking guidance, coaching and creative solutions to enhance individual and organizational performance.
  • Implement, manage and administer employee services programmes and initiatives that support the organization philosophy and strategies.
  • Promote and create awareness of the recognition, health and wellness, and employee extra programmes and services offered to team members.
Requirements:
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering or related field
     
  • Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • At least 2 to 4 years of direct work experience in HR business partnering, employee relations or HR operation
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills who can be assertive, dynamic and proactive and able to develop effective relationships with all levels within the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applicable software
  • Possess strong project management, organizational, analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted initiatives in conjunction with day-to-day activities with minimum supervision
  • Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with all levels of the organization through the use of tact, diplomacy and discretion
