Executive Director

The Executive Director, Aesthetic Sales is responsible for delivering business results through the leadership and management of U.S. Sales efforts for Medicis' Aesthetic franchise.  The Executive Director, Aesthetic Sales is accountable for building and developing an effective Field Sales organization suitable for the successful promotion of the current product portfolio, the launch of new products, and cost-effective achievement of revenue targets.

    * Build and develop a high performance Sales Team; including Sales Directors, Associate Directors, Regional Managers, and Professional Sales Specialists
    * Manage the Aesthetic Sales Learning & Development Department; aligning training efforts to maximize sales impacts
    * Develop and execute National and Regional Sales Plans
    * Create a highly ethical and compliant environment which challenges, motivates, and develops team members to reach optimum performance and potential
    * Utilize critical analytics/information to formulate and modify sales strategies in an effort to exceed targets
    * Collaborate with various departments in the development of incentive Compensation Plans, Sample Management Programs, Fleet Programs, etc.
    * Set clear objectives, coach/mentor, and evaluate personnel performance & skill-level to develop future leaders within the Sales organization
    * Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders on a Regional and National level
    * Develop strategies and tactics in collaboration with Marketing to provide optimal financial return within the Sales organization
    * Maintain a fiscally responsible P&L


    * Minimum of 15 years applicable Pharmaceutical experience required
    * Minimum of 5 years Device or Discretionary product experience required
    * Extensive experience leading Management-Level staff
    * Broad cross-functional experience in other commercial areas; such as Marketing, Sales Operations, Training, etc.
    * Documented history of leadership resulting in significant accomplishments and awards required
    * Ability to travel within the U.S. on a regular basis; which may include overnight and/or weekend travel
