We are seeking a Senior Consultant I in our Clinical Healthcare National department. Located in San Francisco
General Summary
Experienced clinical healthcare consultant with expertise in the area of Academic Medical Universities. Consulting experience in the following areas: Risk Management, Quality Management, Regulatory Compliance, Accreditation and Case Management
Essential Functions
* Client Service:
o Helps clients and other team members by serving as a resource on products and services in healthcare.
o Directs analysis of client needs develops project outlines and recommends suitable approaches or options to consider.
o Uses facilitative and diagnostic skills to assist clients in the articulation of complex problems.
o Actively uncovers concerns or issues that may be unclear to the client.
o Develops the scope of work, project requirements and work plans to accomplish client goals
o Matches products and services in own specialty to client’s key needs.
o Develops or uses systems to organize and track information.
o Enhances the creativity and effectiveness of materials that reflect an understanding of more complex client, project and technical issues.
o Lead client implementations teams, suggest key performance indicators, and directs measurement of results.
o Performs peer reviews, confirms client expectations, and monitors client satisfaction of deliverables and services.
o Respect and maintain client confidentiality.
* Project Management:
o Follow, promote, and facilitate the adoption of the continuous risk improvement methodology.
o Suggests, develops and applies objective criteria for measuring important processes.
o Reviews and enhances suggested new ways and/or formulates new approaches of applying processes and technologies.
o Responsible for developing and managing profitable project budget, as well as negotiating changes.
o Responsible for the development of pricing of projects and securing appropriate selection of resources.
o Responsible for the development and securing of client statements of work.
o Complies with company policy and procedures for timekeeping, expense reporting and billing.
* Communications:
o Develops and effectively delivers complex written and oral communications, such as proposals, technical concepts and deliverables.
o Creates templates or other written materials to be utilized by other consulting colleagues.
* Business Acumen:
o Articulate internal and external business goals and overall strategies needed to attain these goals.
o Directs best practices and resources in a specialty area with identified business need.
o Complies with and checks performance against professional standards and best practices.
* Client development:
o Develops new and expanded business opportunities.
o Coordinates business development activities (e.g. seminars, mailings, etc.).
o Directs, performs, or reviews research (e.g. reviews annual report, financial data, benchmarking, etc) for business development purposes.
o Utilize and develop spheres of influence to develop new and expanded business.

Qualifications
Knowledge:
* 5+ years of clinical healthcare consulting experience.
* Consulting experience in Risk management, Patient Safety, Quality Management, , Accreditation and Case Management.
* Regulatory Compliance experience with OIG, CMS and California title 22
* Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
* Preference given to the following credentials: BSN, CPHRM, CPHQ, CHC
Skills:
* Perform and direct advanced research and analysis.
* Identify problems and apply solutions.
* Organization and Resource (People, projects, time) Management.
* Excellent Communications (Oral and Written).
* Develops and maintains client relationships. Develops and closes business opportunities.
* Proficient in company sanctioned software and systems, as well as relevant use of Internet.
* Attention to detail.
* Proficient in English language (speaking, reading and writing).
* Effectively manages and leads staff.
Physical Requirements:
* Travel required (domestic and international travel possible).
