Mgr-Customer Relationship Mgmt

Position Summary:

 

The Manager, Elite Program will manage and execute on-going facets of Marriott Rewards Elite program.  This includes:

 

■   Program Support:  Manage opportunities that enhance the overall relevance/performance

    of the Elite program.  Identify and develop opportunities to evolve the Elite program as   

    appropriate. Manager, Elite Program plays a key role in ensuring our best guests are   

    recognized and served appropriately.

■   Performance Measurement:  Ongoing assessment of performance of Elite program;

recognition, benefits, delivery, impact and other related measures.  Monitor and report on property performance.

■   Fulfillment:  Coordinate on-going member communications fulfillment, including achievement and renewal kits.

■   Communication:  Coordinate specific Elite offers and content for Elite Exclusive Offers, Elite-only Redemption, MR print newsletter, emails, etc.

■   Market Pull-Through:  Execute programs to build Elite recognition and property pull-through:  MGS recognition toolkit, call program, best practice sharing and related success measurements.

■   Budget:  Assist in developing/managing the Elite program budget

 

This position requires a background in marketing, strong project management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.  This position works extensively with the Consumer Marketing Systems, Design & Production Services, SLC Guest Services, Room Operations and the Market.

 

Requirements:

 

Performs the following types of basic tasks:  analysis, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, writing, print design, research, report generation, and using software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, internal reporting systems).

Responds to, solves and makes decisions on standard/routine business requests with limited risk.

Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff.

Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:

 

■   utilizing technical knowledge and skills to enhance business processes

■   establishing priorities for self and, where appropriate, others

■   allocating own time effectively to meet goals in a manner that does not disadvantage other associates or groups

■   contributing to department/unit budget as appropriate (i.e., input, following guidelines, etc)

 

Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.

Performs other duties as appropriate.

 

Expected Contributions

Demonstrates deep knowledge of Marriott Rewards Elite program; able to contribute as a subject matter expert on project teams.

Managing Elite member communications including on-going level achievement mailings, renewal print mailings.

Work with creative, print and fulfillment partners to ensure processes are followed to meet project

objectives, timelines and budgets.

Manage on-going hotel / partner offer sourcing for Elite Exclusive Offers (EEOs), Elite-Redemption, print newsletter and emails and determine optimal placement.

■   Assist with the development and on-going critique of the Elite program budget.

■   Monitor member recognition performance through on-property benefits delivery and Elite Acknowledgement ratings.

Successful candidates should possess relevant knowledge and experience, and demonstrate strong professional skills including leadership, teamwork and relationship building.

Specific Candidate Profile

Minimum 2 years project experience.  Relevant property/hotel experience a plus.

 

Educational background: Bachelors degree required with appropriate related employment experience.

 

Superior organization and task management skills, including detailed work plan creation and execution.

 

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
