Metro Recruiter

The Recruiter is responsible for driving all aspects of the recruitment process in order to provide quality service to small and medium sized clients through the effective selection and placement of candidates for client vacancies. This will involve full cycle recruiting (which includes managing the hiring process from start to finish). The Recruiter will manage a full cycle desk to include skill marketing their talent, generating new job orders and becoming trusted advisors within the skill set they support.
• Retains key clients and maximizes placement opportunities within their business
• Manages existing client relationships to deliver an exceptional client and candidate experience
• Develops client relationships and creates new business opportunities with SMB clients within a targeted market
• Maintains regular contact with existing clients to ensure full business potential is realized
• Makes key skill selling calls to introduce permanent candidates to existing or prospect clients
• Actively listen to clients' needs and assess situation to offer the best Manpower product/service and overall solution
• Is able to determine client needs whether contingent labor, permanent placement or another service offering
• Discovers the extent and nature of competitor use and places candidates in these areas
• Provides clients with updates and summaries of recruiting process and activity
• Works with the client to determine best fit candidates, coordinate interviews, receive timely feedback and present/manage offers
• Addresses any problems as they occur, working with the client to identify possible solutions and implements them quickly

• Develops and maintains good relationships with core candidates to maintain loyalty and

• Focus on anticipating future dynamics of the market within your vertical
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the required competencies, skills, knowledge required of successful applicants while qualifying the job order.   Identify and submit qualified candidates to Client Hiring    Managers based on the provided job description.
• Skill markets candidates to prospects and clients to create new weekly orders for temporary and permanent placement.  Required to have incremental revenue of XXX for permanent placement and conversion  fees per quarter.
• Create a vertical recruitment strategy utilizing social media, job boards and community relationships
• Identifies placeable candidates through qualifying techniques and skill assessment testing
• Manages candidate offer negotiation process
• Prioritize job orders effectively to meet revenue targets.
• Creates and implements candidate attraction campaigns/plans aligned with the retail business direction of the branch to ensure a consistent and plentiful database of qualified candidates
• Proactively recruits passive candidates through networks, associations, social media, and other viable sources.
• Interviews candidates to establish strengths, skill experience and requirements
• Creates and uses behavioral interviewing techniques in screening and qualifying candidates
• Conducts and evaluates skill or personality assessments
• Accurately interprets client talent specifications and identifies applicants through effective job matching
• Provides face-to-face pre-interview advice to candidates
• Presents offers and conducts offer negotiations with candidates
• Follows up on all placements to ensure retention of fee
• Produces realistic timetables and targets for own achievements and regularly communicates progress/problems with Market Manager


• 3+ years prior work experience in recruiting or business development required in two relevant metro vertical lines
• Past experience selling or executing permanent placement service offerings
• Preferred staffing recruiting experience
