HSE Incharge

Role: - Lead the HSE function and formulate the HSE policy for the PPEL Group - Ensure and implement strong HSE protocols and standards - Define, document, implement audit processes & establish metrics for HSE in achieving regulatory standards Key Responsibilities: - Build an HSE framework outlining the certification requirements for various departments of the organization based on prevailing regulatory and industry norms - Benchmark against industry best practices on a continuous basis and develop internal and external feedback mechanisms to continuously improve HSE standards - Obtain certifications that would be linked to organizational / departmental strategy and liaise with external agencies (Certification & Audit) to implement safety & Environment certification assessments - Formulate a communication plan for dissemination of the HSE policies to various departments of the PPEL - Prepare HSE budgets and ensure adherence to the same - Assess and highlight risks and hazards related to HSE and take corrective action for the same during the projects as well as operational phase - Manage required clearances from statutory bodies on time - Ensure that local pollution, effluents (solid, liquid and gas) from the facility is within prescribed limits and enforce measures to eliminate accidents - Provide adequate training to all personnel on environment, health & safety - Establish sound contingency plans in case of emergency - Ensure timely conducting of HSE checks and field inspection as per approved inspection and test plans per the defined norms and preparation of inspection reports - Monitor implementation of internal business processes from an HSE perspective, conduct periodic audits of the same and highlight deviations to reduce business risks Salary:Not Disclosed by Recruiter Industry:Oil and Gas / Energy / Power / Infrastructure Functional Area:Production, Manufacturing, Maintenance Role Category:Safety/Health/Environment Role:Safety Officer/Manager
