Sr. Manager/manager - HR (IR)

Develop and Implement a strategy for dealing with Unions. To handle employee grievances and facilitate resolution of grievances with a view of ensuring industrial harmony and positive discipline. To handle labour laws and statutory compliance at the plant Manage the process of all new employee contracts within the region for both contractual and regular positions for sites and office employees. Liase with Government authorities on compliances and labour issues. Analyze trends and data to ensure operationally sound and effective human resource systems & industrial relations. Uses appropriate methods & tools to develop and maintain a good understanding of the business together with a good understanding of legislation relating to labour relations including general market trends and practices that potentially impact the organization. Performs defined research analysis of less complex factors that potentially impact current or future labour relations within the business Strategize and lead HR initiatives, suitably aligning policies, to meet organization's short, medium and long term business goals, nurture an organizational culture that promotes high performance and productivity and a values centric approach. Shall be responsible for the overall management of HR- International cell. Incumbents for this position shall be responsible for manpower planning, Recruitment, formulating systems, policies and procedures, Compensation Planning, implementing Performance Management System, visa and travel management and general administration work related to employees. Designing and maintaining information flow for MIS and Database management. Facilitating informed decision-making and tracking critical metrics. Ensuring timely MIS for Global Headquarters. Organizing welfare activities for employees interaction and generating cordial work culture. Employee Relations, grievance handling, counseling and conflict resolution. Interfacing with the functional heads and employees for all employee related issues. Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management-employee relations and achieve dedication by workers. Negotiating and amicably settling disputes with the Union and maintaining discipline & harmonious working environment across all employee levels. Liaisoning with Legal Advisors for conducting the on-going labour related litigations. Enforcing general discipline in the site in accordance with the standing orders of the company.
