Transportation and Supply Chain Planner

DESCRIPTION * Create deliveries and shipments based on sales, stock transport orders and intercompany PO for domestic and international shipments. * Support management with shipping and transportation coordination. * Be able to interface directly with floor warehouse personnel in coordinating inbound as well as outbound shipments. * Work with Customer Service and Inventory control Specialists to select realistic order fulfillment promise dates. * Responsible for input of information to the reports and data entry system. * Coordinates and communicates shipments with outside vendors such as freight forwarders, brokers, steamship lines, third party product suppliers, raw material suppliers, and common carriers. * Comply with all aspects of the expedited shipment procedure. * Supports ocean freight negotiations with Carriers for intra-Asia shipments. * Support the project of increasing container utilization and the saving on extending the RT return frequency. * Responsible for the application of all related import/export payments for business partner (carrier, truck company, customs broker, freight forwarder etc.) and Customs duty payment. * Provide all necessary export sales shipping documents to accounting dept for 0 tax declaration purpose. * Sufficient knowledge of import and export processes in Malaysia. REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelor Degree or Diploma holder with relevant years of experience. 2. This position requires experience in logistics and a working knowledge of hazardous materials. 3. Previous experience with International Import / Export shipping of dangerous goods, per IATA, IMDG and DOT rules is a plus. 4. Experience in the SAP/ERP working environment is preferred. 5. Strong interpersonal and team skills are required to meet both customer and internal communication requirements. Location Singapore Experience 2 to 5 Years
