Sr. Recruiter

Based in Bangalore, the Talent Acquisition Manager, South Asia is an important and strategic member of the regional and global talent acquisition teams. This position covers all recruitment activities across the sub-region (India/Pakistan). Reporting to the Asia Pacific & Japan Talent Acquisition Senior Manager in Singapore, this key leader will be instrumental in driving brand awareness and shaping the reputation of the Life Technologies employment brand to help the company achieve its business objectives. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of both the talent acquisition discipline and the region to assure that the company has a proactive talent approach to positively impact business performance. Essential Functions: Develop a proactive South Asia talent acquisition strategy and the tactics to drive consistent, top performance. Build the Life Technologies employment brand throughout the region. Identify key pockets of talent and develop relationships pre-need. Ensure that the local talent acquisition function delivers on all key metrics including time to fill, cost, candidate quality and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction. Train and coach human resources partners and hiring managers on effective recruiting, interviewing and selection processes. Contract effectively with business leaders to ensure clear expectations on timing and delivery of all recruitment services. Build and manage search firm relationships to ensure strategic use and cost effective contracts to address recruitment needs. Create an effective bottoms-up budgeting process to identify appropriate strategic investments. Partner with the global executive recruitment team in the identification and recruitment of key senior-level talent. Ensure a rich candidate experience from attraction through on-boarding. Establish relationships at targeted universities to meet the needs of the organization. Participate in the business planning cycle and establish forward looking talent attraction strategies.
