To learn more about Invensys Operations Management visit iom.invensys.com Job Description : Description - External Responsibilities: This position has the responsibility of managing and executing all marketing and communication programs pertaining to Control & Safety, Software and M&I business in addition in cross business regional initiatives for the Asia Pacific region. The broad areas of responsibility and accountability would include amongst other things, lead generation, campaign / event management, new product regional launch campaigns, PR / media engagement, online content management / SEO, sales enablement (collaterals, videos, success stories) and major regional initiatives as needed. Responsibilities would include: Planning, co-ordination and program management of global / regional campaigns pertaining to the business segment and the associated lead generation process in close association with the global, regional and country teams. Ensure linkages of global / regional campaign linkages to campaigns / events being run by in-country marketing teams Sales enablement through provision of necessary collaterals and audio video aids, website content with support from regional / global business teams Driving various communication initiatives Manage and track marketing budgets and driving lead generation activities across the region for the business segment Managing forward calendar of events and marketing activities in region and coordination of same in context of global marketing calendar Execution of regional user groups, customer conferences, or technology forums as appropriate with assistance from Regional / Global Business teams and Country marketing teams. Providing inputs to the strategic business planning process through research, market analysis and abstraction of business trends as applicable to the region Providing communication support for various internal communications activities within the Region covering various business lines Manage a team of operations (telemarketing and visual communication) resources in a low cost country within the Region, to drive various Marketing initiatives. Provide competitive intelligence and maintain the installed base customer database. Technical Skills: Strong understanding and experience in marketing and communication preferably in the Automation space in the Asia Pacific market Professional Skills: Program Management - Need to manage and leverage various parts of the organization to drive marketing and communication programs to generate leads and augment demand within the available resources (manpower and spends). Communications - Strong written and verbal communication skills. (Working knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage). Interpersonal Skills: Ability and experience of managing and leveraging relationships in a large matrix organization with direct as well as dotted reporting structures Personal Attributes: Decisive - appropriately pursues business objectives with a bias for action and getting things done. Adaptable - highly organized, disciplined, and handles complex, ambiguous or stressful situations in a calm, professional manner. Persistent - Needs to have a high degree of persistence to drive various initiatives to closure Team player - Needs to be a strong team player and be able to work in a matrix organization and work with people from multiple functions.
