Job Description Technical Support Engineer Type of Requirement: Regular/Part time/Contract/Consultant/Trainee (Regular) Designation Technical Support Engineer Brief job description As a member of our technical support team the incumbent will provide level 1 support to customers and sales teams around the world for L2 switches. Responsible for Triage and handling of Level 1 / Level 2/ Level 3 Technical Support queries via voice calls and online ticketing tool in timely and professional manner Serves as a basic point of contact for Customers complaints, queries, request, feedbacks etc. Responsible for making outbound calls related to technical trouble shooting and problem solving. Manage and take ownership of the resolution process for all customer related issues Aim to resolve issues in first time Customer interaction. Ensures 100% logging of all queries and complaints of the customers Educational/professional qualification required B Tech/BE/MCA preferably with Technical Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP-E, JNCIS-E Experience in support of Layer 2/Layer 3 devices (Ethernet, WAN, VLAN, IP) Soft skills/competencies Need to be soft spoken, work oriented, conscientious and hard working Ability to learn, be resourceful , bears professional attitude and is methodical Be friendly, reliable, positive and acts appropriately and proactively Ability to anticipate customer needs, show concern and be a good listener Constantly strives to improve speed of answer and call logging to improve efficiency. Ensures all relevant process and procedures are followed Required by (Date) Special remarks Strong English language communication and writing skills (accent training will be a plus), BE/ BTech, MCA, BSc- IT , MSc -IT , 24*7 shift, No Cabs. Candidates get joining bonus of Rs. 35,000 , if join within a month.
