We are looking for Senior Process Associates with good experience in General Ledger and Reconciliation for our Chennai operations. The job details of which is given below: Designation : Senior Process Associate Reporting to: Process Lead Experience : 2-3 yrs Job location : Chennai DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Process Associate will be responsible for reviewing the financial documents processed by the team as per the business rules defined by the client. Experience in General ledger functions and reconciliation i s mandatory Requires minimal supervision to manage daily activities and is able to meet deadlines. Ensure that issues faced during process execution are escalated meritoriously to the immediate supervisor To meet Service Level Agreement and productivity targets. Implement & follow quality matrix as defined by IQB Is responsible to log all errors identified at the quality review stage and also give constant feedback to the entry level associates Effective business communication both verbal and written. Responsible for maintaining daily production logs Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts and skills. Identify process efficiencies and contribute to improve. Be a team player by providing required inputs on time to enable the team to process the task efficiently. Supports supervisor with any adhoc requests / any reporting requirements as and when necessary. Routine communication to supervisors relating to financial close, issues and deliverables. Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly. Work hand-in-hand with the On Shore teams to ensure the processing of transaction is supported and meets the IQBs SLA targets. Provide full support on new businesses integration as assigned from time to time. Build relationships with key points of contact within the operation across the processes and other functions in order to maintain an understanding of the process context. Prepare, maintain and circulate Daily Status Report and Daily Handover Reports within the operation. Provide effective on the job training to the newcomers on all the accounting tasks assigned to them WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Preferably 2-3 Year Finance and Accounting or equivalent. Previous experience in accounts payable is an advantage. Experience in General Ledger and Reconciliation is a must.
