Web Developer

Position Summary:This is a Web Developer on the Configuration Engineering team that performs Kenexa software products branding, 3rd party integrations and api implementations as a part of client implementations and support, utilizing skills such as HTML, XHTML, XML/XSL, CSS, JavaScript and related Web technologies & tools 1. Any Engineering or Science graduate from a reputed university. 2. 4-6 years of solid experience in HTML, XHTML, XML/XSL, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and tools like Dreamweaver/FrontPage & Firebug. 4. Strong XML, XSLT and XPath hands-on development experience . Working experience on API's Soap webservices. 5 Experience in TFS, Eclipse, integrating with server-side technologies (UI integration) with the web applications built on Java technology. 6. Strong Understanding of cross-browser/cross platform limitations and provide solutions. 7. Experience in developing, designing, upgrading, and maintaining Web sites. 8. Experience in customer facing role and gathering, analysing business requirements and providing SOW's 9. Knowledge on software project management, Software Development Life Cycle, defect life cycle and software process metrics. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: 1. Works on HTML, XHTML, XML/XSL, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and tools like Dreamweaver/FrontPage ,Firebug and other Web technologies as a part of product graphics customization & fixing client reported issues2. Utilizes online tools and XML/XSL mapping for configuring Kenexa's products for client's specific needs.3. Implement API's and provide employment branding for customers.4. Perform 3rd party integration using XML, XSLT and XPath5. Particpate in external customer calls, Analyses customer requirements, suggests solutions to internal and external clients on the product configurations, branding, integrations and data export/import.6. Primary technical contact for all the branding/api's related requests7. Provides on cross-browser / cross-platform solutions for the UI development and conducts research on related emerging Web Technologies as required.8. Provides technical & functional guidance to the team members and takes care of work estimation, allocation and tracking.9. Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment. 10. Provides clear, accurate and prompt communication to the team, management and the client services teams.11. Works in a global project team environment with people working from India and across the globe. 12.
