Financial Controller

Central location · Pleasant work environment · Excellent exposure A renowned Independent Hotelier is in search of a Financial Controller with good leadership skills to be a part of the team. Responsibility Leading a finance team and overseeing the hotel business activities, he/she will ensure smooth and effective performance of the full spectrum of finance & accounting functions. Be a business partner to the operations team and continuously improve on operational efficiency. Responsible for monthly closing, periodic forecasting, results analysis, budgeting and Singapore Accounting Standards compliance. Ensure all accounting standards, policies and procedures are reviewed and implemented. Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents and other external parties. In addition, he/she is to monitor and supervise the purchasing function and IT area of work. Education & Work Experience He/she must have a professional degree in Accountancy or equivalent with more than 5 years of relevant hospitality experience and assumed a Controller /Senior Manager capacity. Hotel industry background and knowledge is preferred for this role. Someone mature, strong integrity, good leadership ability, detail-oriented, excellent communication skills are important due to interaction with various department and senior management.
