Dock Worker

Primary Purpose:

    Prepares driver manifests and keeps manifest up to date. Logs departure and return times of drivers

    Insures that all bundles and mail are on proper trucks, corrects any errors made by the Mail Room

    Monitors dock supplies

    Keeps managers informed of problem areas and drivers informed of all changes affecting their jobs

    Makes truck runs delivering newspapers and performs a variety of related duties as necessary

    Routes all drop changes from circulation to ensure all bundles are routed on proper trucks

    Assists contact haulers as needed

    Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Education & Experience/Certifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Safe driving record and valid TX license are required

    Must be familiar with names of streets in the city
