Account Executive

As an Account Executive, Acquisition Sales your job responsibilities include:

    * Solicit and drive new business acquisition and account cultivation in our full product portfolio under the direction of the Director of Acquisition Sales
    * Increase advertising revenue by proactively prospecting and qualifying new business accounts
    * Volume sales focus conducted through cold calling, phone appointment setting and face to face meetings with clients
    * Manage a small to moderate account load successfully
    * Initiate, coordinate and conduct formal verbal and written sales presentations
    * Seek new customers including but not limited to planning advertising budgets, developing and presenting campaigns and other targeting methods
    * Monitor competitive media, trends in the market and client industries to identify opportunities to increase market share
    * Other related duties as assigned

Requirements: The successful candidate must have the following:

    * Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred with 0-2 years relevant sales experience
    * Experience in prospecting and closing sales with proven ability to sell multiple products, generate new business and increase market share
    * Demonstrated record of success in a goal orientated, highly accountable sales environment
    * Excellent presentation, public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills
    * Strong ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline, generate referrals/leads and track/follow up on leads
    * Capability to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines and assignments
    * Self-motivated, diligent work ethic, dependable, superior people skills and great attitude
    * Proficient in MS Office skills and other customer relations software
    * Excellent oral and written communication skills
    * Must have valid driver's license, good driving record and auto liability coverage
    * Travel required, minimal overnight travel
    * Frequent lifting under 25 lbs
