Administrator System

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will oversee installation of the LAN, hardware, operating system and constructive simulation software during set-up, and serve as the primary trainer/advisor for these functions during staff development. Seeking a retired officer, senior NCO or individual with at least two years of systems administration/LAN experience performed in support of constructive simulation (preferably JCATS); two years experience (or certification) with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system is also required. Familiarity with JCATS software, training/teaching experience and experience with Windows based systems, distributed exercise architecture, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of computer peripherals/hardware is desired.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Must be able to travel unassisted to US and foreign locations. Must be able to move, carry and operate personal computer equipment and related material.

Applicant selected will be subjected to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Job location will be Eastern Europe and/or Middle East
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
