JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution/System Tester to join our fast-paced Software Engineering team. You will be tasked with testing systems and software within an embedded C/C++ environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology within the transportation sector. With an extensive list of high profile projects you will be exposed to all areas of Software Development within transportation technologies including the latest innovations in automated fare collection and contactless payments. Continuous variety and guidance from senior members of the team will afford you the opportunity to become a subject matter expert within this sector.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Engineering level testing of device software

 

Automated testing strategy and tools development

 

Building and configuring software for test releases
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

The successful applicant will possess an excellent software development background, good previous team leading/management experience, strong testing methods knowledge and experience of linux development and testing.

 

In addition, any experience of test-driven development, encryption technologies and/or smartcard/payment card technology would be highly desirable.
