ACH Supervisor

     
 Summary:
This position is a working supervisor responsible for processing ACH, internal and external account reconciliations and EDI reporting in addition to supervising a team of individuals.

Essential Funtions:
* Monitor daily operations for team. Supervise staff of 2. Work with dept manager to coach and annually review and evaluate all staff.
* Provide rules interpretation and guidance to internal and external customers
* Update department procedures and SOP's
* Perform BCP testing, software and system upgrade testing
* Conducting employee training to include updates of NACHA rule change
* Complete monthly statistical reporting
* Provide ACH support to internal and external customers
* Set up new accounts and recurring ACH transfers in systems
* Other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
* High school graduate or equivalent.
* One year of management or supervisor experience.
* Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion.
* Some college courses completed is a plus

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
* Minimum 2 years banking experience - branch and/or back room operations.
* Knowledge of NACHA rules and ACH processing systems.
* Demonstrated ability to track and organize multiple tasks; high attention to detail.
* Demonstrated strong communication skills; written and oral
* Demonstrated excellent client service skills
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated success in developing and leading teams of people.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit for prolonged duration at corporate reception desk.
* Ability to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movements.
*Ability to bend, squat, and reach to access office materials.
* Ability to speak, hear, and see clearly.
* Ability to stand and extend handshake while greeting customers.
*Ability to think critically and provide appropriate solutions.
