Apps Sup Intermediate Analyst
Description
Manage performance tuning in middleware technologies (TIBCO Business Events, Business Works & EMS) and Oracle to improve quality performance with reduced cpu usage.
Manage Data Center and development teams to provide the technical environment such as RND, UAT and Production, and trainings on the supported processes and use of system tools.
Manage Data Center review on capacity and identify and execute tuning opportunities with developers
Manage raising of problem tickets to developers for problem resolution and production access.
Manage team's monitoring of Country SLA to determine critical path, identify potential area for tuning for front-end applications.
Ensure all reviews conducted by production assurance teams are planned and executed
Participate/execute strategic technology initiatives for the corporate at a regional & global level
Manage review, update and ensure internal procedures ie. rules set for review, should be maintained up-to-date (align with DCs processes).
Manage review the front-end system wellness of region countries supported - ie ensure uptime as per SLA, and plan out action steps for country required focus.
Organise and drive regular meetings with DCs, to ensure all issues relating to ITO are addressed with action.
Drive monitoring and analysis on the trend of application software supported by ITO.
Ensure day-to-day systems availability support through management of deployment schedules, assessment of available system logs and checklists, following escalation procedures, documenting problem resolution and providing status reporting major deliverables including feedback with any process improvement.
Manage all control and audit aspects in conjunction with the business.
Manage COB support with proper planning and execution as per defined guidelines.
Any BAU related reporting and metrics for, production assurance deployment & infrastructure are clearly communicated in a timely manner.
Ensure day-to-day application/systems availability support through management of production schedules, following escalation procedures, documenting problem resolution and providing status reporting major deliverables.
Ensure day-to-day processes are properly carried out by staff supported and feedback with any process improvement.
Ensure processes performed by dept are in accordance with internal policies and standard, and that regulatory expectation for control, monitoring and reporting of risk.

Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years of IT experience in application management in which at least 2 Years as Production Support Lead managing a sizable team.
Mandatory: TIBCO Business Events, Business Works & EMS
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in middleware technologies (TIBCO Suite of Products).
Strong skills in Unix & Oracle 11g
Midrange, Open system, Internet and Network system software knowledge
Minimum 2 years of Leadership experience.
