Business Analysis

 The role encompasses Strategy & Planning (S&P), metrics/reporting, financial management and communications for the GCT Product Development organization. This role is responsible for managing a team of BAs that focus in the aforementioned areas and share the responsibility for managing the operations of the organization.  Additionally, the role will work with their peers and lead through the transformation of this global organization:  how it delivers, its operating model, structure, and its culture.

Strategy and Planning
• Assesses organizational capabilities/gaps and identifies/leads improvement opportunities
• Manages the annual planning cycle, collaborating with IT Finance and Product Development Senior Leadership Team
• Understands changing business demand and optimal delivery to support it
• Drives improvements to the organization's resource strategy

Specific Leadership Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Owns employee communications through Community Site maturity to All Hands Materials, supporting the organization's cultural and behavioral objectives
• Supports management needs throughout the organization (manager meetings, training, leadership)
• Assesses VOE opportunities and drives respective programs such as Most Wanted Improvements
• Analyzes and interprets data to develop recommendations and prepare executive level presentations and reports for senior leaders
• Operating and Reporting Deliverables - Facilitate coordination and production of organization charts, monthly review decks, and other planning/governance related reporting deliverables.
• Planning - Participate in the development of GCT Strategy & Planning programs and ensures alignment.
• Financials - Assist in the coordination of LOB/COE activities related to budgeting and forecasting, capacity projections and cost reduction initiatives.

• Communications - Coordinate development of materials for various LOB/COE meetings; manage/contribute to maintenance of intranet site; support development of Executive, Departmental, Senior Management and company-wide communications.
• Governance - Ensure appropriate organizational decision-making protocols are followed in accordance with operating policies and procedures.
• Vendor Oversight - Participate in developing vendor management strategies and ensuring vendor-related contractual commitments at the LOB/COE levels.
• Premises  - Participate in setting site strategies and managing site planning activities, including space planning at the site.
• Program Management - Lead projects that drive efficiency in business performance and proactively identify areas of process improvement that will reduce rework and provide cost savings.

Qualifications
 Requirements
• Bachelors degree - advanced degree a plus.
• 7-10 years management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Strong customer focus and management of client expectations - ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence.
• Ability to simplify complex IT information and design clear, value focused messages to a variety of audiences under tight timeframes.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and techniques - including prior implementation experience in a complex technical environment.
• Significant interpersonal skills at all levels of management and ability to motivate employees/teams to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems.
• Possess strong collaborating and/or influencing skills with senior leadership.
• Strong relationship building skills.

• High energy, confident individual that communicates with passion and authority.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Ability to think short- and long-term.
• Aptitude to work independently as well as with a team with minimal direction in a fast-paced, changing environment - excellent prioritization skills a must.
• Proven capability as change agent in previous work assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Must be able to effectively communicate with management and employees across business units.
• Ability to write clear proposals, project plans, and presentations.
• Advanced MS Office, particularly PowerPoint skills.
