Category & Supplier Manager

Global Procurement Services is responsible for the procurement of all Cisco indirect goods and services globally. We serve as the Supply Chain Manager and Procurement arm for all non-production, in-direct suppliers and services. We are an Engine connected to the Business Functions delivering repeatable new value. And we operate a best-in-class technology industry procurement capability delivering year-over-year competitive advantages. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to Manage team projects such as internal reporting tool development or data collection Manage reports in Excel, PowerPoint or other MS applications. Assist Category Director to manage deadlines and day to day work: Coordinating and consolidating weekly, monthly, and quarterly operations reviews for upper management Support management with the creation and editing of Executive Presentations Work with team leaders to track, monitor, and report on project progress and deliverables Input results into ProSource and Savings Pipeline Consolidation for the Technology Category. Administration work to support upper management when needed Create procedures and processes with the ability to communicate and train effectively Collect data and provide financial and operational reports when necessary Conduct market research and benchmarking for category Maintain Supplier profiles and Executive Summaries or similar documentation to support Technology Category supplier management
