Responsibilities:

Purpose and Summary of position:

•           Design and execute strategic/regional account plans aligned with the Business line strategy for our product groups “Sweeteners” and “Sorbates”

•           Ensure company obtains  maximum returns by providing superior value to customer

•           Know the market and customers deeply. Draw connections to foresee future trends and opportunities to grow and innovate

•           Take a lead role in new product launches.  Establish and articulate Celanese value proposition for key accounts.

•           Define and achieve annual sales targets for assigned Nutrinova accounts

•           Insure that business opportunities and customer needs are evaluated and an account development strategy exists.

•           Define customer structure in sales territory, evaluate market opportunities and acquire and establish new accounts.

•           Analyze customer relationship process and drive customer relationships forward by coordinating and implementing Nutrinova activities which increase customer satisfaction. Be main interface with the customer and negotiate deliverables (volumes, prices, services, etc).

•           Optimize re-seller management, evaluate distributors’ needs, set performance criteria and achieve mutual performance objectives.

•           Support the implementation of local marketing activities such as sales promotion, local trade shows and local advertising together with superior

•           Ensure regular reporting on accounts within sales territory in CRM

 
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

 

•           Bachelor degree in economics or marketing or technical degree in food chemistry

•           Minimum 15 years of international sales or marketing experience in the food ingredient industry

•           Experience and network in the food ingredients market

•           Fluent in English

•           Demonstrated leadership skills

•           Ability to interact, influence and facilitate at several levels of the organization

•           Good understanding of business interactions

•           High degree of customer focus and strong sense of urgency

•           Structured, organized and proactive with a strong focus on results

•           Change mentality

•           Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•           Travel requirement 50% (primarily within NA region)

 

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

 

SAP experience

    *
      Experience with Market analysis and forecasting.
    *
      Experience with market strategy development plans.
    *
      Understanding of order management and logistics.
    *
      Business-to-business account management experience.
    * Technical/commercial understanding of Sweeteners and/or Food & Beverage industry
