Cloud Server Specialist

This position will be responsible for closing leads generated by lead sources primarily through outbound prospect contacts. Work with and sell with Cbeyond Direct Sales, National Accounts, Solutions Advisors, Channel Account Managers and Private Label resellers within Cbeyond 14 direct markets.

Responsibilities:

    * Must demonstrate ability to seek, generate, and acquire new sales opportunities
    * Must keep adequate records for all contacts and tasked calling lists using tools within contact management, and customer management systems
    * Responsible for providing all paperwork utilized in tracking and measurement of key metrics designed to measure individual and team productivity against assigned objectives
    * Must adhere to established Cbeyond sales processes, policies, and guidelines
    * Must meet all assigned productivity and activity metrics assigned for the position
    * Assist prospects with differentiating between multiple technologies that can meet their needs
    * Work closely with Sales Engineers to perform feasibility assessments of how well Cbeyond Cloud Services meet the customer requirements and what customization would be required.
    * Maintain a clear understanding of how existing customers are using Cbeyond Cloud Services solutions for Cloud Servers.
    * Provide training to all Cbeyond sales channels including lunch an learn, individual coaching and seminars
    * Champion the server sale quota for their respective market and interact with corporate resources to garner the necessary support to aid in sales/training efforts

Requirements

    * Bachelor''s degree in business or marketing preferred
    * Possesses superior follow up skills with the ability to respond under pressure
    * Must have effective communicating skills over the phone, email, sales chat and in person
    * A minimum of 1 - 3 years successful New Business sales experience, incorporating value/service selling
    * Sales experience in a technology related industry preferred with strong Microsoft knowledge
    * B2B Sales experience with strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
    * Proven territory development skills and must have good prospecting, cold calling, and closing skills.
    * Have a high energy, dynamic personality with a sense of urgency, and a strong commitment to working within a team-oriented environment.
    * Must be self-motivated with a disciplined work ethic and have demonstrated the ability to work without a lot of structure or direct supervision. Must be goal oriented.
    * Working knowledge of phone systems, computers, network configurations software applications and related server technology.
    * Willingness to work varied shifts as dictated by the call-geography of assigned projects

      Desirable
    * Prior industry sales experience with a managed service provider of Internet services, ASP, Microsoft, Hosted PBX, Data Center, or CLE with the ability to further acquire a working knowledge of the Telecommunication and Service industries
    * Documented, prior sales experience and a track record of success
