POSITION SUMMARY: Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity.


    * Arranges and oversees manufacturing schedules and tracks production.
    * Relays manufacturing progress to customer through sales department.  Advises sales of current and future manufacturing capacities.
    * Responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor according to the production schedule.
    * Prepares and maintains production reports to detect production problems and adjusts schedules as needed.
    * Completes shipping information and delivery date input.
    * Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.


    * Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with scheduling, purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, manufacturing process/practices and MS Office applications.
    * Requires solid analytical skills and ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.  Ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.   Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization and have the ability to negotiate to bring others together and reconcile differences.
